vale[ blog ] diary of the last hollow soul

Not so long ago i ordered two books from the net, even though i have about ten books to read already. These two are the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus (Tractatus for short) by Ludwig Wittgenstein and the Necronomicon (Kitab Al Azif) by Abdul Alhazred, the Mad Arab (in fact by H. P. Lovecraft). I've read a lot about Tractatus, and studied Wittgenstein for my essay about him, so i think that one will be iteresting—and with this one, my philosophy collection grows by one more. Now it's Either/Or by Kierkegaard (hungarian translation), The Seducer's Diary (in german) also by Kierkegaard, Ecce Homo (in hungarian) and Thus spoke Zarathustra (in german) by Nietzsche, History of Western Philosophy by Russell (in english) and now the Tractatus (in hungarian). Not enough.
The Necronomicon is a book many have heard about, and as in case of many Lovecraft-myths, this one's considered real by many too. It's quite popular, there was a movie about it and stuff… But i've only got it, because i really liked the Call of Cthulhu and the Dunwich Horror. That Lovecraft knew something…
(I was lazy to look up all the ISBN codes and associated websites, but at least double-checked all titles, so if you want to look any up, you could.)

I've seen this article linked in at Caracalla's. I wondered if it's right what it tries to say… Is it really a fact, that valedictorian students are just lousy bloggers, totally hopeless in the business, unable to write anything interesting? I think i can label myself a valedictorian – even my nick fits that title. But… I've always been trying not to become someone boring. This already puts me in the loser category of the copyblogger, since i've been trying. It's not like i started writing and everyone was like wow (sadly). Though… On the other hand, it may not be such a bad thing to have a comment ratio of less than 1.0 – it kind of gives the blog an alternative atmosphere, even if that'd be a bit forced category to apply. I can write whatever i want, almost no one cares. Would it be better if i could write whatever i want, and everyone would be interested? Do you want to see your blog popular? What would it feel like? (Don't have to answer in english.)
