I don’t know if this is the American Dream’s or the Danish Dream’s Japanese version or what. Photos and tags online contradict each other, so I’ve got no idea which this “Mikkel’s Dream” actually is.
What I do know is that it’s got a medium sized bubbly white head on top of an orange pour. There’s some lacing.
To the nose it’s grainy but still fresh with the most “traditional” citrusy hops.
Its medium, smooth body has a sharp but quickly passing carbonation. Taste-wise it’s the good pilsner grain with nice hop bitters.
The aftertaste is at first the bitters, then an alcohol taste (despite low ABV), and finally the grains last the longest.
Really refreshing, and for me, having grown up on pilsners, even nostalgic.
