It’s one thing to be stuck in the studio basically all day (except for exceptions), and it’s another to spend the whole of that time actively doing work. Which is what happened today…

The background artists demanded material to work from now (you know, like little kids demand candy), which meant we had to sort through lots of cuts and make the background source material. I think it wasn’t yet 2pm when we started, but it was well after 8pm that I finished my part. At least the monotony of the work was broken by occasional chances to go out to pick up some material that just got finished or chat with the animators about… I don’t even know what.

Point is, it was a long and tiring day, but at least I didn’t have to go shopping and I had food for dinner ready as well. In my lunch break I even managed to squeeze in a little something that hopefully will make some members of my family happier.
