Last week I got the urge to make something cinnamon, so yesterday I tried my hands at a cinnamon roll cake. It failed in more than one way.
I guess the dough was less thick than it should’ve been, or the filling was too much, because pretty much all the filling sank to the bottom of the pan instead of staying in the middle and top of the dough. That made it difficult to cut it nicely into pieces. Guess I’ll just use less filling the next time I try.
Also, the glazing didn’t turn out in any acceptable way either. Needs more practice.
It’s edible for sure, but it’s an ugly mess still.
