Full moon

Full moon is one of the greatest and most known symbols of the Asian cultures. In addition to its many natural effects, it also changes the thinking and underconscience of humans.

I realised that i have a much higher creative potential when it’s around time of the full moon… i only write poems at such times, hardly ever else.

Not to mention it’s beautiful. I can sit in the window watching it dozing off and wondering things i haven’t ever thought about before.

I also am more communicative and open, harder to tire… Could stay on for much longer and lack sleep less. Oh, and i mostly dream only at full moon. No idea why, but it’s enough for me for sure, considering how crazy dreams i see…

So, as a summary: full moon is a great thing. I want to make a photo once with a blue lotus on the water in the night, with the full moon reflecting on the water near it. Would be great, desu ne?

Emlékeztek, amikor azt írtam, hogy be akartam menni a múzeumba megnézni valami kiállítást? Az adott kiállítás tárgyát a japán papírsárkányok és pörgettyűk képezték, amikből ugye elég sokat lehet látni a különböző animékben (pl. az InuYashában Shippo is használ pörgettyűt).

Ugye ezt én naiv úgy képzeltem el, hogy rengeteg nagy, színes, szép papírsárkány lesz mindenfelé kifüggesztve meg hasonlóan nagy mennyiségű pörgettyű szanaszét vitrinekben. Hát igen, ahogy azt a kisfiúk elképzelik, hogy Fredet idézzem a Harry Potterből (4. kötet)… Mondjuk az elképzelésem nagyjából helytálló volt kivéve a “rengeteg” és a “hasonlóan nagy mennyiségű” kifejezéseket, valamint a “vitrinek” többes számot indikáló ragját. Tehát: az egész egy kb 30 négyzetméteres teremben kapott helyet, volt az egész placcon legfeljebb 20 papírsárkány (volt egy, ami hosszú volt, és több is függött egy zsinóron, leírni nehéz, de ha látod, egyértelmű), és egy vitrinben nagyjából 10 pörgettyű virított. Számomra az egészben a legnagyobb kaland a sárkányok hátoldalára ragasztott cetlikről elolvasni a japán betűket – mert ugye a “kiállítás” megtekintése kb 5 percbe telne, a belépő meg csak 200 Ft…

Azt viszont meg kell hagyni, hogy az a kevés legalább (többségében) szép volt.

I was simply fed up with all the mess on my pc – i mean, there was a quite chaotic folder structure and data mass randomly placed on my hdd, so i moved them all to one single directory – i didn’t have the determination to sort them too. Just to note: only the fonts take up about 200 megs… interesting. Explanation: there are many far eastern (chinese, japanese) fonts, that contain thousands of letters and thus are really huge (15-20 megs). Don’t ask me what for i need those, i don’t know. It’s just fun to be able to type in many looks.

The next step would be to order my music too. It’s already somewhat ordered, but to store all of them on one drive it’d take repartitioning my hdds, and i’m lazy to do that not to mention it’d take ages with 280 gigs of total space, almost totally filled with data…

Once in a few years i’ll take the time and tidy up everything, organizing my music, the images (i have loads of them, really), the documents, projects and such. Also i want to create separate windows profiles for the other users of the computer (mainly my cousin) because i’m fed up with cleaning down the remains of half-uninstalled game demos and such.

But now i’ll only get ~3 gigs of new anime (new DS, Naruto and Bleach eps and a new series called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which looks really cool). I really need a DVD burner.

Ezen szavak jellemezték igazán a tegnapi napomat. Pontosabban csak ezek maradtak meg úgy igazán, a többi nem tudott megfogni semmivel.

Igazság szerint csak a dzsemborihoz kötődik történet. Mifelénk (meg gondolom mindenhol máshol is) már elég népszerű iskolában is a dohányzás – szakadna le a keze annak, aki kinemesítette a dohányt…

Szóval, a legnépszerűbb hely ezen agyatlan tevékenység végzésére a mosdó. Elhihetitek nekem, milyen öröm úgy belépni a mellékhelységbe folyó ügyek intézése végett, hogy odabent vágni lehet a füstöt. Baltával.

Egyszer így toppantam be oda, és néhány ismerős arc láttán valami megmagyarázhatatlan sugalmazás hatására a “na mi van srácok, dzsemborizunk?” hangsor hagyta el torkomat… a hatás azonnali volt.

Really strange, this one will be really about the band in the title. Officially it’s a death metal formation from France. I’m not quite familiar with the borders of music styles, but however i don’t like other death metal bands, i love this. At least, their From Mars to Sirius album, that i have. I am specially addicted to the Flying Whales song – it has nothing to do with that fun scene in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy so far as i know.

Their lyrics focus on the nature, the global warming and Earth, and they play it in a way that’s a bit too progressive to be called pure death metal (and also, the subject of the lyrics…), but sometimes the grunts appear and also the drums and guitars sound as they should in death metal. Really worth listening once if you dare…

Ez is csak olyan címadás, mint az előző… egy vékony szálon kívül semmi nem köti a tartalomhoz. Az a vékony szál pedig a Dream Theater 6 AM című száma – bár még a reggeli hat órának sem lenne köze az elkövetkezőkhöz. Viszont amikor elkezdtem írni ezt, éppen valami jó progresszív zenét hallgattam, és ráadásul az járt a fejemben, hogy délután ötkor értem haza, ezért a cím. Ha valaki nem érti még mindig, az már eszp. Mostmár nem fogom fékezni magamat itt a blogon, ha valahol egy kicsit nagyot ugrok logikában. Ez van.

Szóval. Ma délután 5-kor értem haza. Nem mintha az időponttal (túl sok) gond lenne, csak mentegetem magam, hogy miért nem melóztam annyit. Egyszerűen azért, mert most töltöm itthon a harmadik éber órámat. Király. Első ok: hét órám volt. Megjegyzendő: ez még csak az első tanítási nap. Második megjegyzés: a hét órából elmaradt az első (angol, amire úgyse mennék be – nyelvvizsga előnyei, ugye), továbbá elmaradt az ötödik, énekem is. Micsoda öröm. Tényleg. Második ok: visszavittem a könyveket a könyvtárba (mind a nyolcat), és ha már ott voltam, kölcsönöztem is. Öt újat. Pont annyit, mint amennyi órám volt. Pillangó effekt. Azért csak ötöt, mert hármat (a Milton verseskötetet, amiben az Elveszett Paradicsom volt – igen, elolvastam, meg a két Sherlock Holmes könyvet) meghosszabbíttattam, hogy a maradékokat is elolvashassam belőlük. Az öt új pedig két Vonnegut és három Agatha Christie.

Ezután még caplattam egy adagot, pl. be akartam menni a múzeumba, aminő tervemet szokásos akadályom, az anyagi források hiánya hiúsította meg, lévén 200 Ft a belépő, én meg ugye nem hordok pénzt magamnál. Reméltem, hogy ingyenes. Aztán hazajöttem, és csináltam, ami eszembe jutott és módom nomeg kedvem is volt rá…

No, this article won’t be about Alice Cooper. Nor will it be about music. Just school. Then why is “Alice Cooper” the title? Simple. Or not. Alice Cooper has a song called School’s out. But now it’s back. Poor us.

First, looking at the statistics of the main domain, much less people browse here since the school’s back. Yeah. I’m not worried about it though… We’ll just get used to it.

Second, looking at the statistics of my body, i won’t be able to keep on staying on for long with this waking early. Also, no interesting anime is on anymore. I mean, there are multiple, but Trigun would be too late to watch (11pm…) with school next day, and i’ve seen all episodes of Ghost Stories, so no need to stay up for that either… I’ll rather read myself to sleep.

I realised this problem today when i thought about what new page i should make for Digimon Backup. I already prepared the images for it, but had no power to write the page itself. Sucks.

All i could do is to update the sidebar so the newest pages will be available from there too.

I hate this. Sucked with a problem just because i forget to change quotes in a pasted text. Cool.

So, i’ve been working all afternoon and i will very soon leave to finish my prescious books and meanwhile let Azureus download my prescious DS episodes. Cool.

After typing these two paragraphs before, i realised something. That thing was that i started using things that Vonnegut uses in his books but i’d never use. Willingly repeating words is like that and other things you may not realise. I think it’s because i don’t have anything to read – though that’d mean that Vonnegut doesn’t have anything to write anymore, that’s why he uses such tricks to stretch his books (just as i use them to stretch this post).

It may be on the other hand that i only started using some tools used by him because of the influence of his books, but i don’t want to believe that. Or that i only think so because my head hurts like hell. Cool.
