That’s MS Word for you

I just tried to reproduce that butterfly effect (i mean, characters looking like a butterfly together (ƐЇ3), not the chaos-theory stuff) with Word, but instead i did reproduce some strange and chaotic behaviour rather associated with the aforementioned theory. Word decided that it won’t allow me to enter any Unicode characters like the greek epsilon (Ɛ) – now i wrote this i realised that earlier i had similar problems with its support for japanese characters. Funny is that with Notepad it works perfectly, as expected.

Feel like

My new wallpaper, i mean on my laptop desktop. Feel like. I think that the Royale theme doesn’t exactly fit in with this so i may be installing StyleXP soon. (X)or not.

Fed up

I’ve got enough of MSN for a while. From now on, you won’t be able to see me online on that network, only once or twice a week, but i’ll be on on others, mostly ICQ, which i use for work purposes. If you by low chance want to get in touch with me, contact me via the blog, or by just signing that form (eyes bottom right) or writing me a mail. I don’t care.

Studies

I’m fed up with learning all this stuff i probably won’t ever need, but all right, for the upcoming five days, i have to be in. Tomorrow i’m having oral exam in IT, then late afternoon i’ll be at the Helloween – Gamma Ray – Axxis gig at my most visited venue PeCsa. That’s fine, but saturday’s stundents’ day at my school and i’ll have to get back on time somehow (forget waking early for that 5:05 AM train already), then that night probably we’ll have a sleepover party at my best friend’s, which will probably drain me a lot, but then again on sunday i’ll have to learn a lot because on tuesday i’m writing a huge test on the history of the XIV-XVIII. centuries… A few pages to read and learn, approx. a hundred and fifty… Nifty.

Writer’s blog

to blog (third-person singular simple present blogs, present participle blogging, simple past blogged, past participle blogged)

blog – Wiktionary

Blogging is something i’m not doing nowadays. Simply because though i have quite a few things to write, but i can’t find the proper words to form these ideas into complete sentences, and also because i can’t stay focused for even such a short period of time, my mind always wanders around things i don’t want to write about. Also by the time i get to write the blog, i always forget those things, and i’m always so tired that all i have power for is phoning someone or just chatting with someone, writing crazy out-of-the-world stuff in my notebook, or just falling onto my bed staring emptily into nothing thinking and burning.

Coding

Now i’m working on the admin area of the blog, because i’m tired of having to go to phpMyAdmin every single time i want to edit a post (and for some reason it loads dead slow). The funny thing is, that after such a long time of coding in Pascal, i always want to write then after each if, and put a do after while. It’s funny, i never expected it to be so…

Three

These three things rock. First, the past winners of Anime Con AMV contests, of which the last was a Bleach one, and another great one is of FMA. Third, the following deviation is a real beauty. I was like “wow”.

Prime

After doing the last of the remaining exam training tests, i also made a program that decides if a number is prime or not. Naturally it’s range is limited, to |x|<2^31, though it’s still quite wide in my opinion. The fun thing is, that while testing with numbers over 12 million, for the third try i managed to hit a prime (12 437 519), so i’m proud now. You can also download the prog. Feel free to use it.

Expel

‘Tis i wrote an hour ago, and… well, just read it, if you want and if you dare. I’m not exactly satisfied with this, to be honest, but then again, it’s yours to read and decide.

Zombie

Today we went out to the cemeteries where our ancestors are buried, and i was driving. It was fun (the driving part, i mean). While there, i started to think of what would stand on my headstone. I’ve seen some with phrases like “… who could only love.” and such, which i know wouldn’t match me. Is it a crazy thing to think of such matters when i’m only a month after my eighteenth birthday?

I also remembered that last year, when we were out to the graves, i was listening to the Cranberries song Zombie. That was a bit morbid too, i think, to listen to such a song on the Día de los muertos (the day of the dead), but still, that was it. Today the most catchy one was As long as i fall by Helloween, especially the chorus part:

As Long As I Fall
I don’t hit the ground

As Long As I Fall
I’m safe and sound

As long as I fly
I sure cannot die
I don’t need to hear the call
As Long As I Fall

Helloween – As long as I fall
