Just two questions:

Should i IP-ban those bots who are constanty trying to log in using silly (and spam-suspicious) e-mail addresses as username and 345 as password?

How can i write such a search method that recognises similar phrases? So for example, if the user searched for “empirio-criticism”, and it returns no results, as there was no such word in the blog before now, but it says that “empirism” is like that and it’s found x times. Any idea? (Funny that i use the “idea” word after using a branch of materialism as example.)

I was amazed how fast my net is nowadays. Azureus downloaded 1.5 gig in less than two hours. I was like wtf.

Also, it was just now i realised that the blog was in a closed state. It was naturally open for me, but because there was an older code up, no one else was let in. Sorry ’bout this. Fixed. Thanks go to Jackson for telling me about the issue.

Registering works, just as all the user functions (except editing profiles, so don’t mistype anything yet). Have fun registering and commenting.

Now i’m off learning geography. Tomorrow i’ll be questioned about everything we learned in this half term. My grade depends on this, so i’ve to learn everything thoroughly. This would be my only four if i wouldn’t get a five.

The blog now has two available layouts as i added a black theme in addition to the blue one. You can choose which one you want to use with the links in the panel at the bottom of the left sidebar. A red theme and the register page will come soon too. Not to mention the advanced search, which i really want to do.

If anyone played with the second piece of the Broken Sword series, this title must have awakened funny memories of Nicole standing in the room of the El General trying to talk about something with that dead dumb man. I ROFL at that scene.

Anyway. I messed around the regexps used on each longer text (like posts, comments), so now all double quotes (“) should be replaced to quote tags. I think it’s somewhat better… But it was dead long to do it. I know, i suck at regexps. Also, there are more and more quotes (mostly japanese or self-made 俳句 (haiku)) added to the databese to be displayed on the left, in the Better panel. Hope you like them. If not, don’t read.

Oh, and from now on, the respect links are displayed in a random order on the sidebar. I felt bad, because that order looked like they were ordered, though they were not. So it’s now random.
