Let me keep up with the trend and sum up what happened to me in the past year. I don’t exactly remember how it started, but i well remember waking up totally hungover next day and cleaning up the mess the one after that.
Then i went back to Japan and came the winter trimester in Gaidai. Made presentations about all kinds of stuff, wrote a huge load of reports, but at least school was easier than in the autumn before.
I ended up playing in a band for the graduation ceremony, during the practice for which i had the pleasure to play on guitars i probably won’t have a chance to for years to come (Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster), but then i bought my own electric and we performed (well?).
Thus ended my year in Tokyo and after and adventurous week of staying in hotels (looking back i should’ve found some cheap hostels) i moved in to my dorm in Hikone.
University, as for classes, is boring, to put it simply, and fun for most of the time otherwise. I joined the light music club, had a gig of a few funk songs. Club life in general is lots of fun, even more so now that we got to know each other more.
I spent most of august going to the gym and running every day, and playing StarCraft 2 in the rest of the time (not to mention watching insane amount of various series). In the end of august, i went to Okinawa, then got shipped to China, then as the finale of the summer break came the club camp.
School started again, even more boring than in the spring semester, and is about to culminate in some epic exam preparations in the weeks coming.
To be honest, i can’t even remember what movies or series i watched this year (and it wouldn’t be fair to pick the one or two i do), many good new albums came out, and i strongly suggest you check out the blog archives in the respective categories for those posts.
Now this year’s over, let’s finish it well. Let the next year be even better.
