I mean before i post the podcast, which will be a song from the 2004 album Spinefarm Hardcovers, i just want to tell you that finally today i bought the new webspace, the new domain, asked the admin (since valerauko.net is not completely under my control) to redirect the domain to the new space, it’s only the matter of time, when the whole new thing will be available and online and running and everything.

So, here comes the podcast. Last night i started with this song when i tried to fall asleep. It’s from the album named before, which contains mighty great songs of mighty great bands performed by the greatest bands of the Spinefarm label. So, the song is originally performed by Twisted Sister, and it’s title is We’re not gonna take it. The artist of this version is a band called Thee Ultra Bimboos (silly name…), and it’s pretty good. Let’s hear it.

Egész jó. Kezdenek végre működni a dolgok, amiknek már ezer éve működni kéne. Elindult végre a gépezet, ami az új domainban, tárhelyben meg ilyenekben fog kicsúcsosodni – ugyanaz a gépezet, amiről már februárban is írtam, mellesleg.

Másik nagyszerű dolog, hogy holnappal végetér a suliban a tanítás, már csak csütörtökön kell majd egy sportnapot kibírni. Alig várom. LOL.

Vicces volt a mai nap is… számtechről még azt írtam (ángilusul), hogy hamarosan írok majd, ehhez képest sikerült valahogy fél 7 körül hazaérnem végül is… bankoztam, bringáztam, fagyiztam (ámen a torkomnak), Radiátort intéztem, haverokkal találkoztam, meg minden. És még van matekházim =)

Last from school

Most probably this is the last post i write from school, because this is my very last computer studies lesson ever, and i must say i’m happy about that. They were very boring, much too often annoying and such.

At least i found a good thing this time: the photos of the last autumn’s england trip are shared on the school network so i’ll try putting them up on my webspace.

Sad i won’t go this time… i’d love to, but i don’t think my parents could afford that in every year – it’s not a cheap experience, though it worths it, we had a lot of fun there and learned a lot.

Right now i’m uploading the pictures, but the conenction here is not the fastest ever, so i may not be able to upload all. The clever people who made them did not convert them to smaller size, so almost all are around 1MB in size. Funny.

Lucky the lesson ended, the one-before-last day of school also, so i’ve to leave, will be back sometime today!

Olaszország épp Ghanával játszik VB-meccset, és én mégse erről fogok írni, bár az olasz gól, meg kell hagyni, igencsak szép volt.

A népek hülyesége hoz le. Az egyik az, hogy teljesen ismeretlen emberek vesznek fel IM-en, és aztán elvárja, hogy azért, mert bedobott egy fórum linket, ahol aktív (és ahol én sosem voltam), én már kapásból adjak neki kidolgozott életrajzot, fényképet, amit csak kér. Még csak be sem mutatkozott. Találjam ki, hogy kicsoda.

A másik amiről mefi is hírelt, hogy az átlagos magyar fiatal internetező értelmi szintjének intelligencia hányadosa fájdalmasan nagy valószínűséggel közelít az 50-hez. Alulról. Olvasni csoda, ha folyékonyan tud, számolni talán a lottó 90 számával bezáróan képes, és ennyi. Na jó, ez elég pesszimista kép, de vannak helyek, ahol bizony igaz.

Harmadik, ami fárasztó, az ilyen késői órán való blogpost pötyögés. Abba is hagynám már, mert őseim szerint nem tesz jót a sok 80Hz-bámulás. Valszeg igazuk is van.

Everyone who wants to be hosted at me: due to the massive stupidity of my bank (they set the transfer limit of my account to 0 (zero), even though i said to disable all limit…), the site will move by the best scenario tonight, which means tomorrow it’ll open for you, the worse is that it’ll be moved tomorrow, so you’ll get access tomorrow evening, and the worst is that you’ll get access on wednesday.

They said instant activation, so by the side of the host it’ll be all right, but i don’t know how long it’ll take for the registrar to redirect the domain to the new place.

Patience, please.

I made the last two posts on my phone late night in the darkness, and then posted them now and dated them back to the right time. I just told you this to understand why didn’t you see them before.

Today i woke up intentionally earlier than i would’ve done else, so i could finish up the new layout (v4) for the site to replace this blue splash page. I think it came out pretty well, though i won’t upload the final version until i move hosts – what will hopefully happen in a few days.

I went to church then and came back sometime around noon. The plan was to go cycling with a friend, but for some mysterious reason he didn’t show up at all, so after half an hour’s waiting i’ve left alone and done my usual tour around the town.

Since then i’m chatting with many people on IM nets (Google Talk, MSN, AIM etc), finalized the layout and fixed some bugs with the mail sending form.

I don’t think i will be writing much more posts today because i have to learn for the huge biology test for tomorrow. I write it to get the best grade, so i’ll have to do it almost perfect. That will be very hard, since the subject of the test is all the things we learned about in the first half of the term, so the neuroendocrine system (the nervous and the hormone system together) of both animals and humans. Not a bit hard.

Most látom csak, hogy már ma van – már nem mintha tíz perce nem ma lett volna, csak nem ugyanaz a ma, mint most.

Tegnap (hiszen mostmár tegnapnak számít) a pénzügyek mellett az oldal új designján dolgoztam – jó retrós lett, nekem nagyon tetszik. Viszont egyelőre inkább nem publikálom, csak majd az új tárhelyen fogom aktiválni, addig bírjátok ki a mostani kékséggel.

Még kaptok egy podcastet is, egy magyar metál banda, a Stonehenge egy művét…

Today i’ve read dozens of help sections, manuals, mailing listsand all other kinds of information sources just to find a way to add funds to my PayPall account, so i could finally transfer the sites. As expected, and as you can see, i was unsuccessful, so i’ve to find out how will i pay. I’ll try my best to do it tomorrow, so i can accept hosting requests.

Ma ment le a fenti címmel megáldott Agatha Christie könyvből készült film második része (az első tegnap volt). Ahogy azt a zseniális írónő műveitől (és az azokból készült filmek többségétől) megszokhattuk, a történet fordulatos, Miss Marple az ártatlannak tűnő keresztkérdéseivel és ügyes tématerelésével megadja a kellő humort is, az összes felsorolt gyanúsított természetesen végig játékban marad, a feszültséget fokozandó, és a film végére még egy horrorfilmbe illő őrültgyilkosos-lánymegtámadós jelenet is jutott, ami nem feltétlenül volt a legodaillőbb megoldás, de kétségkívül nagyon hatásos volt (ez meg egy bekezdéses mondat, a’la kémiatanárom).

A történetet nem is próbálom meg most vázolni, mert akaratlanul is elárulnék néhány lényeges részletet, úgyhogy akit érdekel, inkább nézze meg a film Port.hu-s oldalát, ahol szerintem egy teljesen korrekt összefoglalást olvashattok.
