Trillian vs Jabber

Some time ago a friend of mine asked me if i had Jabber. For some reason he couldn’t connect to any else IM service, and since he’s a member of my staff, communication is needed between us. So he sent me a GMail invitation, i got the Jabber plugin for Trillian and met there once or twice.

Yeah, but then the Jabber plugin began sabotageing everything related Trillian, by making it crash if connected to Jabber for more than a minute. Funny. I’ve checked the official Trillian forums, and it seems i’m not the only one with this problem. I hope they’ll correct it soon. It’s dead annoying.

Pontosabban csak költekezek, még pontosabban csak költekeznék. Azért feltételes mód, mert a drága OTP-s arcok változatlanul nem válaszoltak az e-mailemre, amiben a kártyám internetes nem-működése felől érdeklődök. Piszok bosszanó, mert akiknek tárhelyet ígértem, folyton rágják érte a fülem…

Na mindegy. Szóval amikre majd elköltöm jól megérdemelt fabatkáimat:

Na ez nagyon vicces. Megírok egy szép postot, aztán valami magam számára is rejtett okból átkattintok egy másik tabra az Operában, amikor meg megpróbálok visszakattintani, feszt bezáró gombot találom el. Just my luck.

Mindegy. Arról kezdtem írni, hogy ma már valszeg többet nem fogok jelentkezni, mert egyszerűen már nincs kedvem ez előtt a villogó kocka előtt degenerálódni (még akkor se, ha nem is degenerálódás). Be fogom lőni az Azureust, hogy még ha akarok se tudjak ideülni (ugyanis a kis drága felzabálja az összes rendszererőforrást), és még az Digimon rész is talán le fog jönni.

Este előreláthatólag buli lesz, egy osztálytársam szülinapja alkalmából. Nem tervezek semmi extrém dolgot, ami gondolom senkinek nem meglepő a múlt hétvége eseményei után…

Pirate Bay

Most olvastam egy hírt, hogy bezárták a PirateBay-t. Egyrészt jól tették, mert hát csak a világ legnagyobb illegális tartalmakra mutató BT trackere, napi millió látogatóval, akik nyilván nem csak a designt nézegették. Képzelhetitek, hogy ha csak egy zenei albumot tölt le mindegyik (5000 Ft-os albumárral számolva), már 5 milliárd dollár bevétel kiesés a kiadóknak. Nem csoda, hogy balhéznak, én is balhéznék a helyükben.

Az is igaz ugyanakkor, hogy magán az oldalon semmilyen illegális tartalom nem volt, csak illegális tartalmakra mutató torrent linkek. Ez a torrent technika lényege, az emberek nem a weboldalról szedik a tartalmakat, amit bármikor bezárhatnak, hanem egymásról, szinte követhetetlenül.

Na majd meglátjuk mi lesz a buli vége, amúgy maga a Pirate Bay itt volt valamikor… Régebben milyen sikere volt, most meg vagy megjelenik egy, a bezárást hirdető oldal vagy nem…

The new Naruto and Bleach

I just watched the recent eps of Naruto and Bleach, the only series currently running i always watch in addition to Digimon Savers (DS episodes download very slow of some reason).

The new Bleach was good, i don’t wanna say any spoilers, so i’ll just do an outline. It’s still about the Bounto, and finally Ichigo & co are started fighting them. Ichigo got the guy with the iron spider girl (Koga and Daruku), Inoue, Rukia got the girl Bounto with a strange sword+fan weapon being her doll, and Chad got the old looking one. Ichigo had a nice big battle still going but the others haven’t begun until the end of the episode. When looking for the Bounto names i found out that there’ll be a Bleach movie coming out this winter. I’ll watch it for sure. It’s good we get a cool anime movie for each winter (last time it was FMA).

The Naruto one didn’t end the fillers, on the contrary, began a new filler saga with Nano Country, nins with flower techniques and such. It’s said to last only 3-4 episodes, and if we’re lucky that’ll prove true. The team this time is Naruto+Chouji+Hinata. Strange company for sure. In this episode nothing particular happened just two minor battles, and the introduction of new characters. Hope this’ll be the last filler story, or i don’t know what’ll happen to the series…

Today’s podcast should be this song from the Rock The Night concert record from 2004. It sounds very well and clean, in addition to being an extremely good song. The guys don’t bear a single mark of the long passed time since their debut and success.

Ma végre megvan a bankkártyám, direkt megkérdeztem az okosokat, hogy lehet-e vele interneten vásárolni, és persze mind azt mondta, hogy “igen, természetesen lehet”, nomeg a weboldalukon is ott van az internetes vásárlásra alkalmas bankkártyák között a Junior Plusz… Ahhoz képest valahogy a PayPal következetesen hibával tér vissza, miszerint a bankom azt állítja, hogy nincs ilyen kártya. Na ennyit erről. Természetesen nem fogom annyiban hagyni, de hétvégén miért is lennének nyitva… ahogy suliban szokták mondani “megy a telefon”…

AMV Hell 3

It’s the title of the over-one-hour-long AMV i was watching this afternoon. It’s very long and very funny, but the shorter version (which was online at YouTube but taken down for some reason) is much better imho. That one doesn’t have the boring ones and the not-so-funny ones.

You can find the long version here (it’s on Google Video) and the short version was here before it was made private. Hope it’ll be made public once more.

A mai napom eddig egész jól telt… a tegnapi már kevésbé, sry, hogy csak egy angol postot termeltem, de fél 6-tól fél 11-ig írtam a fizika házidogámat. Esélyes, hogy meg fogom formázni és berakom vWrite-ba, ugyanis valami hihetetlen, hogy ebben a témakörben – villanymotorok és generátorok – milyen kevés magyar nyelvű anyag van a neten. Igaz, az angol nyelvű Wikipedia elég sok hasznos adatot tartalmaz, de egy angolul nem tudónak az elérhetetlen – nomeg azt a szakszöveget nem is olyan könnyű lefordítani és még át is írni (ezért is tartott annyi ideig, ameddig).

Ma szerencsére elmaradt az első órám (nyelvtan), úgyhogy kipihenhettem volna a késő esti meló fáradalmait, de én ehelyett inkább írtam még két oldalt a szöveghez. Be is adtam (pontosabban odaadtam valakinek, hogy adja be – remélem megtette), szerintem jó lett…

Ugh. I was working on the very same thing back since half past 5pm up to now. My task was to write a project on electromagnetic engines and generators in 6 pages. Wasn’t easy, and I’m dead tired, so i won’t write anymore.
