If someone would like to make me happy, get me a painting by Clyfford Still. Really.

K.O.

I was just a little bit tired this afternoon. Arrived home relatively early (compared to the usual), but i couldn’t do anything. So much that i decided i needed an urgent… no, not a surgery, neither a mental therapy, just a sleep. And i slept. I planned to sleep about an hour, and ended up with two, still about the same tired as before. Cool.

Anyway. I wanted to write a novel for a competition, but i think i will do it sometime later. I couldn’t write the whole thing tonight anyway. I’ll rather just plan it now and write it later. I want it to win.

After i woke up i started reading Naruto manga, but not the most recent chapters, but the ones around the time the series are at right now. I read about thirty, and i had to force myself to stop, or else i’d be continuosly reading until midnight…

Voices

I could say the same thing as the Chaos Marines from Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War: “Do you hear the voices too?!” Yeah, i do hear them. The whole day today they’ve been singing this great verse…

Looking down from ethereal skies
Silent crystalline tears I cry
For all must say their last goodbye –
to Paradise

Symphony X – Paradise Lost

And i was already addicted to Paradise Lost stuff… See the book by Milton, the great depressed-metal band, and loads of songs with this theme…

Home

I’m once again writing. I’m back from Paris. It was good. Very good. Today was not, actually it was pretty… khm… bad, but who cares. In the capital of fashion and bearer of loads of other totally meaningless titles (so in Paris), we’ve seen (almost) everything there is to see in about three days, and tried out whatever we could—too bad that because of our financial limits, the number of our “experiments” was also limited… The weather was agains us too, just as the receptionist of the hotel where we first reserved a room (he claimed that he didn’t read any direct request of reservation in the e-mails we sent—this means that “we would like to reserve a room for two nights” isn’t a clear enough expression), but we really enjoyed our stay. Would go back for a week, but first i need to win the jackpot.

The Life of Pi was a great book. At least, if you can call an audio book a book. I’ve been listening to it for a while nowexplanation is that i hardly had time to listen to one part in one piece, because each was about 70 minutes long. It was… shocking. And interesting, naturally, and if i was reading it, i don’t think i could’ve put it down (this way it was a lot easier to do so). In case some of you didn’t know the story…

Think

I think i’ll just lay down, have a tea and listen to the remaining two parts of the Life of Pi. Apropos Pi, i may follow the americans’ example and learn a few hundred digits of Pi. As of now, i know five after the point.

Unlearn

I’ve just realised that tomorrow i’m having a test in history, about the second world war from the foreword to the epilogue. The problem is that i wasn’t paying attention at lessons for two weeks now, didn’t write any notes, and naturally didn’t learn anything. I’ll either have to borrow someone else’s notes in the first lesson and learn them, or learn from the book. I also have a project to finish urgently, and even a private life. Fine.

Before

Before i write about the concert yesterday, i’d like to announce, that this year i’m sure to visit the Sziget for the whole week. Gosh. Iron Maiden and now i read in their newsletter that Sex Pistols’ coming too.
