Today i started working on the new version of the blog (yeah, once again), so please note this day in your calendars, so that you’ll know how long it takes for me to develop such a “simple” thing. I haven’t done much yet, just decided the basic methods to use and wrote some of the most interesting functions. I try to finish it quickly (remember this).
Silent minutes
This whole afternoon i’ve been learning – see the next post, what -, now i only keep a short break and go back to my “beloved books”. I’ve been thinking about what kind of project should i launch once i’m done with those i’m already in.

Codification
Just two questions:
Should i IP-ban those bots who are constanty trying to log in using silly (and spam-suspicious) e-mail addresses as username and 345 as password?
How can i write such a search method that recognises similar phrases? So for example, if the user searched for “empirio-criticism”, and it returns no results, as there was no such word in the blog before now, but it says that “empirism” is like that and it’s found x times. Any idea? (Funny that i use the “idea” word after using a branch of materialism as example.)

The Alchemist
Long ago, Shamalt wrote a post about The alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and i decided to read it. I got it as a present from my gandma on my name’s day and finished reading it now a few minutes ago. It was very good. You know, such adjectives as “very good”, are so empty and shallow that they are no way appropriate to describe a book like this one. Now i know what it’s like, i would regret if i hadn’t read it, but then i wouldn’t know what it’s like so i wouldn’t regret it. What a nice twist, hope you understand what i mean. If not, listen to the wind and the stars.
500
No, not 300, and not even Sparta – just the 500th post in my little blog. This afternoon was a really boring one, when i pretended that i’m working while doing nothing. I should get used to planning my codes before starting writing them, ’cause this way it’s very hard. I know it’s easier with plans, once i made them and wrote 3-500 lines of code in an afternoon. So yeah.
I wonder what will i do in the evening… i think i won’t stay by the computer, since noone is online who i could have a talk with, and my work morals are so low that i couldn’t do anything useful either. I think i’ll lay on the floor and write poems, read, write algorithms, read and all along listen to my 428 song collection. I chose all the songs i really like, ranging from Swiss suite by Oliver Nelson to Flying whales by Gojira. I think this collection will stay long, as i don’t miss any beloved ones from it (ok, maybe one or two, but i’ll get those later). Oh nope, before anything i’ll blog one more. Then we’ll see.
Suffocate
This afternoon i went swimming with my brother’s kids, and was in the water for about two hours. Naturally now i’m very exhausted, i almost fall off the chair sleeping. I like this feeling, it’s so much better than that fatigue after a drunken night, but i think almost everything is better than that…
X
The X key fell out of my laptop keyboard. It did so some time earlier, but now it totally escaped its locks. Doesn’t matter, it’s no physical fault, i could put it back with a quick ten minutes of work. It takes so long only because the connecting parts are so minuscule that they are hard to see even with strong light, and when i’m putting the key back with both my hands, then there are no strong light. Anyway, it’s back, i’m happy (see, how easy it is to make a kyub happy).
I’ve also started learning Ruby. I like it. This summer i will learn it if i have time. I must master Pascal by the start of school, that’s why. I also will be learning languages more zippy, i plan on learning five new words every day in each language i learn (english, german, japanese).
