My wireless network got messed up in the afternoon. I’m still working on it. The problem is that the two machines see each other (at least they do see the network and also the connections show no error), but neither file nor internet nor any sharing works. Funny, because i changed nothing, it just stopped. Until i can fix this, i won’t be available. Damn Windows.
As I am
This song is simply great. I think it’s my favourite Dream Theater track. They also played it on wednesday’s gig, and it’s even better live. Also, it has huge meaning in it, in my opinion, and thus it’s good both for just rocking and headbanging as well as sitting quietly and thinking.
Fast
I was amazed how fast my net is nowadays. Azureus downloaded 1.5 gig in less than two hours. I was like wtf.
Also, it was just now i realised that the blog was in a closed state. It was naturally open for me, but because there was an older code up, no one else was let in. Sorry ’bout this. Fixed. Thanks go to Jackson for telling me about the issue.
Dream Theater
Yesterday’s gig in the PeCsa (Petőfi Hall) was a dead good one, i can say one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to – maybe only Helloween’s performance last winter was comparable with this one (naturally not counting the last Dream Theater appearance in 2005, which i also attended and was also such great). The music, the feeling everything was nearer to perfect than most i’ve ever experienced.
Wonderful world
I’m about to write the second post today, for which i have appropriate inspiration, Louis Armstrong is singing his wonderful What a wonderful world and… well, this should be enough.
Today, after a quite long time i picked up a Vonnegut book, the collection of short stories in a not-so-long volume, titled Bagombo Snuff Box. I thought that i could write loads about it, but now it doesn’t seem so. Crazy a wonderful world, isn’t it?
I’m reading a bit too many books simultaneously now: in addition to this Vonnegut piece, i’m reading one about chaos (i’ve written about this earlier), the Alchemist by Paolo Coelho, which gefällt mir sehr (ger. “i like very much”) and a japanese poem collection (mostly haiku, naturally).
Today i should’ve written an essay about a work of Saint Augustine, De Civitate Dei (lat. City of God), at least three pages long, but i rather chose to write it later. Why? Because i think it’d need much more in-depth knowledge of that book than that i have now, and also, writing about philosophy is not so fun when you’re sleepy and can’t collect your thoughts correctly.
Blogging is not so fun this way either, so i’m off now.

The “allied and associated powers” took away approx. 232495 square kilometres of area and with this act, separated 12364257 people from Hungary.
Scary
It’s just scary how i haven’t done anything today, not to mention not doing anything. It’s especially scary because i shouldn’t do such things as lavishing a whole sunday, as i have loads of work to do, but i won’t list them now. All right, i might have done something, as i installed the new Adobe CS3 trials of Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash and Dreamweaver (the ones i will use), also got a couple of programming language compilers, Turbo Pascal 7 and Python and one for Brainfuck. I also want to get one for Delphi. Which one should i?
This summer i will have to learn coding Pascal very well, also all the things needed for the final exams in IT. An advanced level english exam shall be done too… Troublesome.
LOLCODE
This LOLCODE thing is just great, i must say. So much fun coding it, though many of the methods i’m used to in php is missing. Still, just today i wrote a FizzBuzz script and one that finds perfect numbers. Both need the % php operator (modulus calculation), so i made up the MOD word. It’s not much lolspeak, but better than nothing.
