Yesterday’s gig in the PeCsa (Petőfi Hall) was a dead good one, i can say one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to – maybe only Helloween’s performance last winter was comparable with this one (naturally not counting the last Dream Theater appearance in 2005, which i also attended and was also such great). The music, the feeling everything was nearer to perfect than most i’ve ever experienced.

Since we arrived just on time, i couldn’t get into the first row, only the third. Even that was such an experience as being front row at a Paradise Lost or Apocalyptica gig. Just as a side note: being in the first row is just a .15 multiplier on the experience, not a significant thing.

I won’t go in-depth about the concert, it was great, they played everything expected (As I am, The spirit carries on, and others of this level) and some more that i was not familiar with, from the new album, Systematic Chaos. I wanted to buy it, but i had no sufficient funds, sadly. Originally, i wanted to buy a t-shirt, but it was twice as expensive as the special dvd edition of the album…

Anyway, my top three gigs now rank like this (ordered alphabetically, since all were stunning): Dream Theater(s) in PeCsa (2005. 06. 14, 2007. 06. 06), Helloween in PeCsa (2006. 01. 25) and the concerts at Wan2 festival (including Paradise Lost, Apocalyptica, Tankcsapda, Depresszió; 2006. 06. 30. – 07. 02).
