I arrived back from my one week holiday from lake Balaton. To be exact, i arrived yesterday afternoon, i just didn’t feel like posting here back then – you know, a six hour train trip is pretty tiring not to mention the damn hot weather.

The usual temperature nowadays is about 35°C, and that’s very hot – but i guess there’s no need to tell you that. We were quite lucky with the weather last week, since while we were on the holiday, it was all time sunny and warm, with only one single hour of rain all week.

This one week of idleness gave me pretty much time to think about things. Some of the many results: i’ll revive and upgrade Anime Dragon, create new layouts and such. I want to make it a popular, very good site. I also want to finish Digimon Backup. I hope it won’t take much longer… I’ll work on it today for sure. Hope i can finish it this weekend – if not, then anytime.

The vacation also gave me more time that i can use to learn japanese, and i want to exploit that completely. I already ordered the japanese grammar book – it’s been out of trade for about 20 years, so it may take a while to get one. Until then i’ll use the internet as my source – the About site for japanese language is pretty useful.

Tomorrow i’ll leave for a week, and that most probably means no posting by that time. Maybe when i came back i’ll post some backdated ones, but that doesn’t have a high chance.

Anyway, we’ll be leaving dead early tomorrow so after posting this one and maybe a podcast a bit later i’ll have to start packing and such preparations – thus the title.

I’ve made a few cool avatars yesterday and tomorrow, i’ll post them here, but all has my name on them so you won’t be able to use them much =). Just a showcase. Opinions? If you like them, i may release them unsigned too.

I just watched the latest Digimon Savers and Naruto episodes…

The Naruto was not so very bad, but i’ve seen better of that series too. The battle was lame, the techniques also, sometimes even the animation was creepy and the drawing awful. Don’t know how will this series finish if it continued like this… Scary.

On the opposite, the new Savers episode was wonderful, i only spotted one little thing in the graphics i didn’t like else it was perfectly made, as expected from the new season. In the next episode’s preview finally Ikuto appeared… I decided to create a cool avatar from screenshots. Oh, here they are:

Hi all,

sorry for not writing yesterday, but i was dead tired (no surprise not sleeping for over two days and waking early on the before two…) and slept a lot and didn’t come online much enough to post here.

Why was i so tired? For the simple reason i was at the second largest rock festival, WAN2 from friday to sunday. I parted from home at friday dawn and arrived at Mezőtúr, where the fest took place, around noon. The concerts began around 4PM. I don’t think i should write in-depth experience stories about all of them, so i’ll only write about the biggest and best ones of friday. I’ll leave the saturday ones to the following hungarian post =).

From half past eight i was at the gig of Macskanadrág, a (skate-)punk band from my hometown. They made a really good party, though it may not have been as good as the one they did here in the local pub. They played for about an hour, and presented us the really best tracks they ever wrote. I won’t write titles, just believe me =).

When MNG finished, i went over to the Tankcsapda concert that started a few minutes earlier. I immediately pushed myself into the middle of the audience (in need for a better word), and stayed there till the end of the next gig. TCS played really good songs, and since they are really popular, everyone sang with them – myself included. After they finished, i went to get some fuel and while still singing the last songs for myself, i found myself once again in front of the stage.

Apocalyptica was the next one, so it’s no surprise i was there =). It took a while until they built their own scene on the stage and tuned the cellos, so when they begun, everyone was already prepared. I was really surprised that they only played instrumental tracks, but then i was enlightened by a fellow rocker that they only hire vocalists for their albums, but don’t bring them for their tour. So this was a really cool concert, when only we sang. They performed really well though, played all my favourite songs and even covered some songs by other bands.

And then they finished, and silence fell…

I won’t be here this weekend. I’ll be on the Wan2 Festival far far away. Will be back on Sunday afternoon.

I want to spend most of my days of the summer break like today – well, at least when i’m home. I woke up at 11:30 in the morning. No idea how could i sleep that long, but it was sure good. I surfed on the net and worked on my sites for a few hours, then had lunch and started reading. I turned Azureus on for that time, so i could download some more episodes and the last Naruto OVA. I almost finished the book i’m reading nowadays, and ROFL-ed many parts it was so funny. Then around 6:30 pm i went of cycling. I hoped it won’t be so hot by that time, but i was definitely wrong. Still i did my usual ride around the town and at home had a shower. Since then i was posting on forums and such. Now i’ll leave to have dinner and watch my every night anime dose. So, see you tomorrow!

Just a normal diary-like post. As usual, yesterday i watched Cowboy Bebop and Trigun till late, but i couldn’t finish Trigun due to reasons not worth being written down. I think i’ll start recording these late night episodes, just as i did with the Digimons last term. That time they aired Tamers too early in the morning, when i’m in a hurry anyway and aired Frontier when i was still in school. So i programmed the recorder to catch those episodes for me, so i could watch them when i got home.

For the rest of today i don’t have any particular plans. I may design one more content-decoder for DB, watch some anime, or go cycling, i’ve no idea as of yet. What i’m sure of is that i’ll watch Poirot and Sherlock Holmes TV series and the usual anime duo this night. Before that… well, see you later.

I don’t have any real subject to write about now, so i’ll just post my experience about the time when i was sucking with the domains. I think it’s quite funny, that for the hungarian provider, where valerauko.net is registered, it takes about 2 months to register the domain (seen that last autumn) and almost a week to move it, while GoDaddy registers in the matter of hours and moves the domain in a few minutes. That’s the difference.

At the mininova torrent site, when i was looking for the latest Savers episode raw (unsubbed) version, i found something that surprised me a lot: the first 4 Digimon seasons downloadable, with many seeds. Sadly, because of the WtW subs, there are very few seeds for the Savers raws, so it takes ages to download my long awaited episode (i don’t care for the subs) – for example, there are no seeds and not even a single peer (except me) for the 8th episode, so i can’t download it – i’ll have to stick with the subs, or get it some other way, like getting a batch torrent and downloading only that file – i’ve already done that with the sixth episode.

Anyway, i’m off watching the 190th Naruto ep… report coming later.
