Természetesen nem rajzolok krétakört, áldozok kecskét és hasonlók. Varg Vikernes szerintem nem épp egy követendő életút példája, legalábbis nem a mai társadalomban. Viszont amit egy interjúban mond a nőkről, azzal nem tudok jobban egyetérteni.
Lehet vele vitatkozni, azt mondani, hogy hímsoviniszta és csak a férfiak szempontjából figyel mindent, de jobban belegondolva… azért ha valakinek van, szívesen hallgatnám az ellenérveket. Itt még lehet vitatkozni.

In high school, we often had good laughs about the american way of saying everything “politically correct”. Change the name of something, because the old name has too many negative connotations. The only problem is, that until you use that new name for the same thing, or group of people, nothing will change. If that thing or group of people don’t change, those “negative connotations” will be back. Quick.
The same goes for the gipsies in Hungary, who have been campaigning to be called roma. I don’t have a problem with that, it’s their name for themselves in one of their languages. It feels good for me too when someone identifies me as “magyar” instead of “hungarian”. But in the case of roma as well, the new word started to gain the old word’s negative meanings. And that won’t change until there will be no place for negative preconceptions about that social group. (For some reason, jews apparently don’t care about their word being used as a swearword…)
Then, celebrations. I’ve heard about an american idea, that christmas should be called winter holiday instead, because the christian word isn’t appropriate for all the various religious holidays of that season. True, but. Christmas as-is has a tradition of at least a thousand years in western culture. And the States has its roots in a christian culture as well, how ever religiously unaligned it wants to be. In the jewish quarters of a big city, i guess i’d not see christmas celebrations. Whatever, long live the christmas creep.

TOKYO, Japan — The United Nations has ruled that the Japanese Government breached international human rights law by detaining two Greenpeace activists who uncovered major corruption in the Japanese whaling programme.

Please read that whole article. It kind of says it all. Two japanase environmental activists were arrested and tried because they uncovered a smuggling of whale meat, theoretically illegal. Apparently not. They intercepted a “cardboard” box, which contained stuff it was not supposed to contain: whale meat. The reaction of “justice” was just as expected. In Japan, apparently, they are the criminals, charged with theft and trespass. They are facing trial this monday, where they could be sentenced to up to ten years of prison. Note.
Japanese whaling is carried out under a provision of the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling of 1946, which allows for the animals to be killed for scientific research and the leftover meat to be “processed” as that country sees fit.

Két hírre szeretnék itt és most reflektálni, mert nagyon erőteljesen csapta ki a biztosítékot. Anno elég sokat kerestem egy olyan hírportált, ahol nem kell naponta ezerötszáz cikket átnyálazni, csak a lényeges hazai és nemzetközi híreket kapom. Végül meglett, néhány gazdasági Index-feed és a Google News “személyében”. Ez utóbbin akadtam a fentebb említett két hírre.
Először is, hogy Strassburg reklamál, amiért “könnyebb fogyatékos” gyerekeket speciális osztályba raktak (legalábbis akkor azt mondták rájuk). Megjegyzem, amennyire én tudom, abban az időszakban még nem is volt ennyire szőrszálhasogató a diszkrimináció-mánia. Először is, egy átlag tanárnak nincs képzettsége (szerintem) arra, hogy “könnyebb fogyatékos” gyerekekkel boldoguljon – az Isten szerelmére, soknak még a “normálisak” is gondot okoznak! Arról meg nem is beszélve, hogy többször hallottam olyanról, hogy fenyegetik a szakértői vizsgálatot végzőket, hogy nyilvánítsák a gyereket debilnek, még ha nem is az – kell a támogatás, ugye… És akkor Strassburg reklamál. Ami kiakaszt, az nem az, hogy a magyarországi ilyen diszkrimináció ellen reklamálnak. Oké, legyen integrált oktatás, adják rá a pénzt. Azt mondjuk nem értem, hogy a fogyatékos miért egyenlő a cigánnyal… Csak mert ő azt úgy szeretné beállítani? Megmosolyogtat. Az viszont nem, hogy valamiért a hírekben nem olvasok arról, hogy az EU hogy megszidja Szlovákiát azért, amit az ottani magyarokkal művel. Az első hír, amiben elmarasztaló külföldi véleményről olvastam, mai, és még csak nem is EU, hanem az amerikai kongresszus ítélné el a szlovák intézkedéseket. Elítélné. Hurrá.

It all started with a video a friend (who’s not online right now, and might mind having his/her name published) sent me, with Dick Masterson talking about his philosophy, and i find it really… intriguing that whenever i show it to a girl, the reaction is the same. One tried to tickle me to death. One started her comment with a “nice” vulgar sentence in all capitals. I’m not going to details. Still, it made me think.
When a guy stands up and preaches chauvinism, every woman, intelligent as well as brick stupid, get angry, shout, kill and so on. Now when a woman starts to preach feminism, like two highly attractive women in the Politically Incorrect talk show, intelligent guys at least say “yeah, you’re right”. (Then have a nice round in bed and prove the chauvinist theory that way. Joking here.) Of course there are guys who get angry, and smash in the face of that woman.
Actually, in the second part of the earlier linked Politially Incorrect video, some intelligent arguments can be found. Carl Jung’s anima and animus for example. Michael Moore has the point i wrote about above, of “just nod, just agree”.
If someone happened to ask my opinion, i don’t care. I don’t care about being better in this stereotypical way, i don’t place myself higher than others based on their sex (i do place people relative to myself based on my experience and opinions). It’s sure nice to hear a guy stand there and say all that stuff, simply because it sounds nice to the male inside. That doesn’t mean i think the same, it’s just pleasing. Just the way feminists’ fights are funny.
Okay, this is simply hilarious. On friday i’m going home, so i started cleaning my room (again). This only means that finally i put all my clothes on the shelves and threw out the half-rotting heap of garbage. (Naturally, dish-washing is left for tomorrow.) I usually have such a pile in my room somewhere, simply because i try to keep all the junk separated (combustible, plastic etc), and i don’t have enough trash cans around (or simply i’m too lazy to get out of my chair to throw away that…). Well, that “that” is the key. Most of the garbage is plastic or paper: packaging. I don’t know how this goes in other countries, not even at home, since most of the stuff i’m buying and/or eating here were kind of natural, i didn’t have to think about it. Example: Halls throat candy. I eat a lot of that nowadays, because i don’t want to get ill, which goes all too easily in this time of the year (although the girl at the barbershop today told me that she was over the new flu in three days, which really means three days considering the insane level of japanese health care). Buy one: have the candies, wrapped in paper. Put that in a bag. And inside the packaging have each candy wrapped in plastic foil. Or: “butter” (it’s not actually butter, but no idea how it’s properly and usably called). Not counting the bag they hand it over, a paper box, the plastic box of the butter, and a totally useless paper sheet. Might be i’m just overreacting, but i feel like japanese would do better if they first cut the tremendous junk output (less waribashi are an example of that), and select the rest. It’s all nice doing the selective trash collection, but there’s still looong way to improve. (And not only the environment, i’d be happier as well, less junk.)
Anno nem tudom, melyik órán jött elő ez a fogalom (media literacy), de érdekes. Nagyjából annyit takar, legalábbis ahogy nekem a japán szövegből lejött, hogy ugyan a médiában élünk, de nem a médiából, vagyis nem hiszünk el mindent azonnal és fenntartás nélkül, hanem kritikával és lehetőség szerint objektívan figyeljük a médiát. Értünk hozzá, médiaműveltek (vigyázz, pdf) vagyunk.
Ilyen címszó alatt most reflektálnék (de utálom ezt a szót, nem vagyok én tükör) néhány hírre (ami meg ide nem fér be, idő hiányában (koncert), azok később), amit az utóbbi időben olvastam. Elsőként az vágott fejbe, hogy egy amerikai egyetem nem ad diplomát a kövér diákoknak. Ennyit a nagy amerikai demokráciáról. Az ilyenek miatt tényleg érdemes “tépni a szánkat”, mert ez felháborító. Mégis mi köze van a testsúlynak a tanulmányi eredményhez, a szakmai előmenetelhez? És főleg, mi köze van az egyetemnek ahhoz, hogy a diákja mennyire vigyáz a testére? Ha hetven lennék, azt mondanám, hogy arcpirító, így csak annyit, hogy csodálkozok, hogy az ilyen szabályozás elleni tüntetésről még nem jöttek hírek.
All these human rights declarations, the countless treaties about human rights are all unnecessary. They are made because of the ambiguity of the phrase “free”. When is someone free? Who can be free? Check, all the declarations of rights limit these rights, to citizens of that given state (like too many constitutions), or more generally, to humans. It’s so interesting that humankind couldn’t yet resolve this problem. The declarations and treaties list all what humans are free to do or what they have right to, but this is not the right way. This way, the rights and freedoms are inverted: it would be more practical to suppose that everyone is free to do whatever he/she/it wants. And then come all the limitations. First limitation: as long as it doesn’t limit someone else’s rights or freedoms. And all the others of what you’re not allowed to do.
Are these the same? Are the human rights actually just the limitations of the rights of the community? For sure, since we’re a race that has to survive, the community has to be put higher than all else (meaning that if one can reproduce, they have to). And an “embodiment” of the community is the state, which would explain why there are so many freedoms from the state.
Are we trying to write our own laws of humanics (after Asimov’s laws of robotics), the same way, just since we’re not born bound by these laws but impose them on ourselves, nor are we good, we have to detail them to minimize the damage possible. What’s the answer? How to deal with the whole of our race, and later, with the whole of lifeforms?
色々な情報源によると、国内総生産は生活水準の単位ではなさそうである。しかし、経済力の単位で、そしてGDPがあがれば生活水準もあがるがちなので、よくそれを計るのに使われる。GDPは人々の収入ように思えるが、場合は違うのである。収入と支出は全部GDPに入ったのであるが、GDPが早くあがると給料があまりあがらないこともある。金融危機があるなら、失業もますます悪くなるし、給料があがるのもやむし、マスコミにもほかの事について何も聞けないので、人々は生活が変わらないとも何か変だと思って、悪い感じがある。
そして、給料があがれば、人々は本当に幸せになうか。よく言われた「お金は幸せにできない」の言い回しは普通になったが、Forbesによると正しそうである。言うまでもなく、成功したら、幸せになるのはもっとやさしいだろう。銀行口座の残高が増えることを楽しむ人もいるかもしれないけど、ほとんど人はお金の使いしか認めない。もし、成功できるのために仕事に精出しなければならなくて、家族と間週一回しか会わなかったら、多分価値がないと思う。それは、生産性向上があったら、開きをどこかに制限が必要だと思う。人間の寛容を増させるのは機会か耕地の生産性を強めるほど簡単である。少しずつすれば、人々は多分気づかない。「茹で蛙」と言う警句を忘れないほうがいいだろうと思う。
私はまだ経済の効果を感じない。ハンガリーでも簡素な生活をして、特別な費用がなかったし、日本でも奨学金は費用でたっぷり足りる。しかし、間接費と食べ物しか払わなくても、友達がいるので、幸せだろう。と思う。
Meg kéne írnom egy esszét arról, hogy milyen hatása van a GDP-nek az emberek boldogságára. Ráadásul japánul. Úgyhogy most gondolatfolyok anyanyelvemen és ez alapján írom meg a japánt.
Ahogy utánaolvastam a releváns wikikben, általánosan elfogadott tény, hogy a GDP nem mutatója az életszínvonalnak vagy az emberek boldogságának, akármennyire úgy is tűnhet először. Erre egyrészt magyarázat, hogy a GDP egyáltalán nem az emberek keresetét méri, hanem az ország teljesítményét, ami ugyan nagyban befolyásolja a fizetéseket, de a kettő nem ugyanaz. Az összes bevétel-kiadás ugyan benne van a GDP-ben (elvileg, mert senki nem kér számlát a sikátorban a kokainárus sráctól, se a kéz alatt kapott ukrán csempészcigiről), de hiába nő a GDP gyorsan, a fizetések (általában) jóval lassabban követik (persze gondolom a gyakorlatban a felsővezetés fizetésére ez nem igaz). De azért növekszik, valamennyire. Ha meg összeomlik a gazdaság, akkor jön a nagy munkanélküliség, befagynak a fizetések, meg ahogy tavaly láttam, a média is sugallja a világ végét, úgyhogy mindenkiben ott van a rossz érzés, hogy valami gáz van, még ha az életüket közvetlenül nem is befolyásolja a válság. (Kicsit olyan, mint hogy nekünk valahányszor a “bonyolult, nehéz” jelentésű melléknévvel kell példamondatot produkálni, valahogy mindig a japán nyelv vagy az írásjeleik lesz a téma, pedig annyira nem vészes. Persze ha folyamatosan ezt sulykolják és ismételgetik, akkor tényleg be is válik.)
