Some things i forgot while writing the previous post…
The family i’m staying with is simply just great. The father, Eric’s a journalist, the mother’s a radio person, and there’s even two kids, a girl and a boy aged ten who are twins in addition to my exchange partner Alex. I got a huge room in the basement with an own bathroom and all, could use wireless network to access the net here, so it’s just great. I’m really lucky that wherever i go i always meet such nice people. For the little ones it must be interesting to have a foreign student in house, and i can guess how surprising it is that i can speak english. Well.
They even got me a converter for the electricity plug or whatever that’s called, so that’s how i can write you now. I’ll have to ask them to charge my camera batteries though ’cause that charger doesn’t work here. I think. And I’d like to make loads and loads of photos to show you all when i get home.
I wonder what i forgot this time but now i rather turn off and go build some social connections and stuff. After all, that’s why we’re here. And funny to realise how much use the words “really”, “quite” and their close relatives. I’ll have to change this, it even annoys me.
Oh, and as you probably realised, while i’m out here, everything related to my stay will be in english. That’s how it’s gonna be.
