The new Digimon season that started this year is at its 12th episode as of now. A new episode airs every sunday (once it did not air, because of unknown reasons), and a raw version is usually available for download on the monday following or sometimes late sunday.
I don’t want to write a summary of events of what happened in the series in the past three months. If you’re interested in it, you should download the raws or the subtitled version – a good source for these downloads are the With The Will forums.
The new episode, about which i plan to write now a little bit is titled I Will Protect Chika! Biyomon’s Resolve! (naturally this is an unofficial english translation). Chika is the Masaru’s (who is the Tai/Davis of this season) little sister, a really cute girl – if Masaru’s this season’s Tai, she’s Kari =).
The episode starts with Tohma introducing the results of his research in america: digimon are coming to this world through the emotions of humans – especially through the seven deadly sins. He also told the other DATS members, that he found out that someone is weakening the wall between the two worlds. Then the alarm sounds, and the action group heads off to the location of the signal – the house of Masaru’s family. They find Chika and their mom with a digiegg, that soon hatches to Puwamon. Chika immediately becomes strongly attached to her. Yoshino and Tohma tell the Daimons (Chika, Masaru and their mother) that all digimon that come to this world in the form of a digiegg must have a partner who can use digisoul, or the digimon will become wild and just as uncontrollable as the ones that run on rampage in the real world.
Later that night, a misterious bird digimon appears in town, and Puwamon starts acting strange. The digimon is Falcomon, and came to bring Puwamon back. Puwamon digivolves to Biyomon to fight him. The savers come and engage Falcomon in a fight, but soon he flees.
In the morning, on the commander’s orders doctors try to run tests on Chika to find out whether or not she possesses a digisoul. Masaru knocks them out to “save” Chika =).
Sayuri (their mom) tells the commander that she doesn’t want Chika to join DATS, and Masaru agrees with her. He tries to fight Biyomon until she reverts back to a digiegg, but Falcomon interrupts the fight. Soon that fight (savers vs Falcomon) is also interrupted, this time by Mercurimon, who was told about the situation in the digiworld by a Gotsumon before.
Masaru wants to fight him, and the episode ends…
Judging from the preview on this episode’s end, the next one will be worth watching for sure!
