This is just a line of a poem that will be most possibly born in the near future – it just came across my mind the very moment i wanted to type a title.

For all you don’t know i tell that since today 0:16 AM (so roughly 19 hours ago) i am in my eighteenth year of life – or in another words: today is my seventeenth birthday.

That event is in a nice contrast with the title of the post as you probably think now – but for me it doesn’t neccessarily need bad mood or sadness to write a sad or deep poem. It only needs a good idea or a word that lurks in my subconscience for a while then bursts out together with an almost completely formed poem idea.

I think i’ll only read today, write that poem and chat with people on msn. At least my b-day should be a workless one.

Today i spent my afternoon’s nice big part in the local library reading. I’ve read a Japanese folk-tale collection of about 190 pages. It’s been really interesting and very easy to read. I also rented four more books to the three i had rented before: two Vonnegut books (i don’t know their english titles and right now i’m lazy to check it in the books), an Edgar Allan Poe and an Oscar Wilde anthology. I rented the Poe book because a person trusworthy in this field too told me that his works are worth reading – and i rented the Wilde book because of this person too, since i was told that the Picture of Dorian Gray is also a great book. I only read its first chapter, but i can only agree.

After i arrived home, i made my maths homework, quite easy, except one that i couldn’t understand, because it used a phrase in the task that we haven’t learned about yet – at least not as it was printed there. Then i made two parts of four of the english gcse exam papers, but they were dead easy. If it was real action, it would’ve allowed me to work for 120 minutes (so two hours), but i finished it in half an hour. So to say, as expected. I was lazy to make the essay-writing part too, and i am also lazy to download the sound files for the listening comprehension part.

Now i don’t think i will start working, rather chat with people on different IM networks and read something interesting – like Agatha Christie’s Appointment with Death.

Cool. My afternoon was spent refining the code of DB and writing content pages for it. Also, i think i’ll do a few news posts too, though it takes a while to write the hungarian ones because of the entities (yeah, lame, i don’t use utf encoding there).

I also have to learn two pages of freakin german words for tomorrow’s test. It sucks.

Not to mention i have to read two books i – so to say – don’t really want to read, though when reading them it’ll be more fun than starting.

I downloaded the two Digimon Savers episodes i haven’t seen yet (24 and 25), so you can expect some updates regarding them tomorrow. I didn’t get 26 because i couldn’t find a direct download for it yet.
