Two thoughts clashed in me: writing about the things i wanted to write about and writing in english, which habit i left lately… I decided to combine the two, but i don’t know what will be the result. Read only on your own risk.

Today i’ve seen a couple of interesting things on the way home. First, i’ve seen people who stand out, two Krishna-ists (or however they are called in english) and two nuns. They aren’t that very usual sight in our town… And then, standing by the crossing, a bus passed in front of me, and i could feel the ground move. It was quite an experience.

This is naturally a lot less than i originally planned to write, but then again, i should’ve written it in hungarian as soon as i arrived home, and i didn’t feel like, rather activated my newly acquired credit card on PayPal. It will take a while to do the confirmation stuff, but i think it worths (?) it.

In the process, by the way, i got fed up with having to look up my number and whatever-code and expiration date every time i want to submit the form (and i had to do so a number of times), so i wrote them down to a plaintext file. But as i was about to save it, i realised that putting the codes in an unencrypted file wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do. I started looking up encryption methods for PHP, which came as a natural solution for me (it always does, when i need some scripting—not programming!—done), and soon ended up learning how to use Mcrypt. After a short while i realised that i don’t exactly feel like learning that stuff then, so i just fetched a sample class from a tutorial site and used that. I’m interested in cryptography though, especially since i talked about this with an american friend…
