Longest

I’m refreshing, or rather rebuilding the music collection on my MuVo. This time i’m putting on the longest songs and tracks i have on my laptop. Funny is that half of the songs longer than ten minutes are by Dream Theater. I had to sort it so that i could have some diversity. Or, as Entwine has an album titled that: diEversity.

Island

I’d go out on the Sziget fest for the sake of three bands, but naturally all three are on different days. Just my luck. By the way, the bands would be Within Temptation (wednesday), Soulfly (thursday) and Hammerfall (next tuesday). One day ticket is quite much expensive, i could hardly afford going on all three. What should i do?

Visa

I’ve just arrived home half an hour ago. Fine. In the morning, i left for the 6:40 bus, which arrived at the capital at about half past eight. We got to the embassy soon before nine. The fun part was that there was about one and a half hour delay of some curious reason, so we got in only a few minutes before noon. Then we still had to wait a couple of minutes, until a nice administrator lady fetched all the required papers, and told me to wait until i’d be called to a talk. Well, that talk was something like this:

Administrator: Please put both index fingers on the screen.

After i did so

Ad.: Thank you.

Me: That’s all?

Ad.: Yes. Good bye, have a nice day.

Me: Good bye.

After that, we could leave. Luckily we caught the 13:15 bus back home, so i could have lunch at 3 pm. After that i went to the library with a friend, wrote down some japanese excercises, then had a very big talk. I arrived home starving and half asleep. Since then i’ve eaten and also solved my starvation’s problem with two huge sandwiches. Sleepyness is still present, even though i’ve slept both to and back on the bus. Not that serious though.

Troublesome

Tomorrow i’d have my exam in first aid for my driving licence, but instead, i’ll have to go to the capital to the american embassy to get my visa for my autumn visit (exchange program) to Chicago. Thus i’ll have to delay my exam, find another date somewhere else in the county, and somehow manage to pass. Doesn’t matter. Much.

By the way, the thing i’ve been thinking about is that why does hungarian people need a visa to go to the USA? It’s been really long since there were so many emmigrants, back in the first decades of the communist era… Strange, especially because US citizens can visit Hungary without visa. Thanks a lot! Is that your equal policy or whatever? Eat it.

Kill Bill

Yesterday night and today i watched both parts of the Kill Bill movie – since i consider the two movies (or volumes) one – and i decided to write about it. I hardly ever watch movies, and even then mostly only such that i have some earlier experience of – like reading the book it’s based on, as in the case of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings or something like that. Kill Bill is an exception, because i have known nothing about it, just my brother brought home the two dvds he bought to watch it while he’s here. He had said that i would like it because there are lots of japanese things in it. He was not mistaken.

It’s here

It’s here. Arrived just moments ago. Won’t see me for a while.

Good morning, Vietnam!

I just woke up half an hour ago… i don’t know why, and i’m not happy about it either. I wanted to do loads of things today, but now half of the day has already passed. Anyway, now i’ve to speed up.

Hurts and itches

Yesterday when i was riding to my driving lesson by bike, a horsefly bit my arm, pretty much. I sucked everything out of the wound i could, but still by the evening it got big and red. This morning i put an appropriate remedy on it, but it still hurts and itches (mostly the later). Hope it’ll get better soon. The funny in all this is that last year too had i one such lucky bite, also when i was riding home on my bike. Sucks.

Alive

Don’t worry (well, not as if anyone would), i’m alive. Just my friends thought why not make a party last night. And it was not so good. Before i arrived they had already acquired five bottles of a quite low quality wine. So when i arrived i bought myself one loads better so that i wouldn’t have to poison myself with their strange thing. That was surely hopeless as mine was opened first and was swallowed in the matter of minutes. Not a big problem, but by 3 AM i was somewhat tired and wanted to go to sleep. Did so, but my funny companions decorated my clothes with the contents of a toothpaste tube. Cool, isn’t it?

Anyway, today i’ll have a driving lesson (yesterday i had one too), and finally i can drive whole lessons in traffic. Cool, for sure. Also, i’ll work and learn a lot now, at least i plan so.

Chaos, just once more

I’ve read a nice novel just now, titled 2BR02B. It was written by Kurt Vonnegut, one of my favourite writers. He did a great job, once again, though it’s kind of unfair to use such a phrase associated with work in connection with this piece of art. Yes, i call this art. Makes you think about where you go and what you want. It may have only had this strong effect on my currently unstable spiritual world (see the previous entry for more about this).
