Indeed, why was life created? It’s such a complex and mysterious thing, one of those few out there that go against the universal law of entropy, that it must’ve been created by some higher intelligence. And intelligence acts reasonably, so there must be some reason to the existence of life, and thus to our human lives as well. What could be that reason? Who was the creator?
Insulation
So apparently my flat faces west, something I only noticed recently as days’ve been getting hotter. I’ve kept my windows open for weeks now, and in the morning it’s always nice and cool to wake up, and even when I get back home for lunch… But then when I get out of work and arrive home in the evening, it’s a whole different story.

A holnapi nappal már a naptár is nyarat fog mutatni, bár az időjárás már egy jó ideje nyári hangulatban van, és a 4chan is úszik a nyár szépségeiben. Ilyenkor néha eszembe jutnak régi nyári délutánok, például egy bizonyos, amit a befüggönyözött kisszobában töltöttem a monitor előtt, a WarCraft online multijával és az Office (2003 talán?) telepítőjével játszva, amíg aztán kényszerűségből ki kellett mozdulnom a lakás hűvöséből.
Underline media franchises
The other day I was riding the train to the suburbs of Tokyo with a colleague to pick up some cuts for the show in production, and on the train I saw this (maybe junior high?) girl reading a book.
Now, I thought, what can make a kid read nowadays? I can rely on my own experiences in the matter even less that with other stuff, since when I was junior high age, my favorite book was (drums, please) Tolkien’s Silmarillion. Note that wouldn’t change until I discovered Neil Gaiman after I entered university.
企画とか
一応さ、将来的にP目指してるし、研修中に全スタジオ回ってるところけっこう「企画書どんどん書け」って言われたし、元々大規模なプロジェクトを考えることが好きだったし。先輩の進行や、スタジオのPの企画書をみて参考にしたり、いろいろ調べて（ないけど）ヒットのレシピを探ったり、儲ける方法を考えてる。
Bloody Sabbath
My Saturday (nor the days following) was in no way shorter than my Friday. I started the day in Akihabara, checking out the lineup of airsoft shops. We’re going airsofting in Ibaraki with a bunch of colleagues on Sunday, so I looked around, tried out some guns at a shop with a test shooting range (fun as hell), and bought nothing. Gonna go back the day after tomorrow for some of the essentials, mostly protective gear.
Egy hosszú péntek
Ébresztett a telefonom nyolckor, és hála a nagyon furfangos ébresztő-programnak, miután megoldottam három matekfeladatot, már tényleg nem is volt kedvem visszafeküdni. Gyorsan le is rendeztem hát a szokásos reggeli teendőket (főleg KanColle), bár futni még nem járok, mert még mindig nem akarom terhelni a bokámat.
Quake
The thing in the post title is something I didn’t have any experience with before coming to Japan. It only became a part of my daily routine since I moved to Tokyo almost two months ago. Sadly I’m not talking about the FPS game.
I’m pretty sure I’ve experienced more earthquakes in Tokyo just the past two weeks than in the 4 years I spent in Hikone. “Best” of all is that some of these weren’t even small. Small is when everyone just tweets “omg it’s an earthquake” then forgets all about it ten minutes later.
残酷な後輩のテーゼ
就活やってる人たぶん皆いろいろ聞いてるだろ。日本の労働環境の伝統的な年功序列の崩壊とか、終身雇用の維持可能性がどうこうとか、日本の労働市場のグローバルな競争能力をあげるにいくら外人が必ｙ いやさすがにそんな夢物語は留学生以外は言われないだろう。
年功序列がどうなっても、その裏に日本社会にもっと根本的な先輩後輩の関係がある。それは先輩に嫌われて大変な目にあったやつら以外はほとんどだれも文句言わないだろう。それについてただの常識一文：最初の一年のうち恥ずかしがらず何もかも質問しろ奢ってもらえ。
Szavatossági teszt
Múlt héten Majd’ két hete, hogy vettem egy (légmentesen zárt) zacskó salátának való zöldséget, csak aztán közbe jött ez meg az és egész héten összesen egyszer vacsoráztam itthon, így csak most, “kissé” megkésve (szolid tíz nappal a feltüntetett szavatossági ideje lejárta után) volt módom felbontani. Mivel a szaga alapján nem tudtam eldönteni, hogy ehető-e még, ezért a legegyszerűbb tesztet vetettem be, hogy ellenőrizzem: beleettem.
