I just applied for a summer internship at one of my credit card providers (Mitsui-Sumitomo) and guess what, they sent me my username and the password i set in a plaintext email.
The only single time i can accept that they email me my password after registration is when the initial pass is random generated and i’m required to change it at the first login. But sending me the password i set myself and been using for the past month? What the hell?

Ezzel mindössze annyi a gond, hogy valami pofátlan, amit a mindenféle adókkal és járulékokkal művelnek. Most kaptam egy emailt, hogy így meg úgy, New York 10 ezer jenes repülőjegy, nagyon ajánlják. Mondom magamban, hogy ha tényleg annyiba is kerül, akkor ajánlani se kell, magamtól is megveszem, de persze nem olyan egyszerű a helyzet.

For all the people who almost got scared away by the disgusting emo tone in the previous sentence, i’m not going to write about how i want to cut my wrists because my hair is oily or because i got a spot on my chin or other perceived faults, as i’m not 13, and even if i were, i’m not a stupid whiny bitch. I’m just pissed off by the biology of my body every now and then.
Sometimes it does things that i can’t make any sense of. You know that after a certain age you just know how much your next moon’s blood will be, sleep you need, how much you can drink, and in general how much your body can take. And then my body sometimes just decides that it will ignore my statistics and assumptions about it and do something totally unexpected. The best of it is that that usually happens at the worst possible time. For example today this lump of cells housing/generating/manifesting my soul and conscience (underline appropriate according to your beliefs) decided that attending a class and the orientation about next term’s seminar isn’t important, and ignored the wake-up alarm (twice). This is not the first time i oversleep without any particular reason at an important time, and it really pisses me off. (Really.) (Really.)
And if you add that to the obscene idiocy that evolution displayed when human teeth evolved and other minor annoyances, i think you understand when i say i want technology to evolve so far so that i could replace parts of my body. Without looking different.
もっとも、絶対ここ一生生きたくないということ。春のアニメのシーみたいに未来がないとしか感じれない。政治も経済も物心ついたときからずっとなんか危機っぽくやばかったけど、なんとなくいけた。しかし今のグローバルの経済危機はもう何年も続いてるしセクターからセクターへうつってるみたいだし、すでに弱かったハンガリーはさらにやばくなった。それに加えて民主化以降２０数年の政治もいいといえる政府は一度もなかった。また公安も恐ろしい状態で、俺の育った街は日が沈んだ後街を歩くさえも怖いほど。後は観光客には多分わからないが、人の話とかちょっとだけ聞くと不満、不安、短気しかみえない。収入が低くて、税金や物価が高くて、生活は安定できない。それに失業者も多くて自発的と非自発的の比率もなんか知りたくもないぐらいだ。
こんな環境には帰りたくない。家族や友だちがいなきゃ絶対一度も帰らない。「そんな国を助けるのはお前の役割やろ」と言われたことあるから言うけど、千万人の中で約６割がどうしょうもないぐらいのあほなら、残りの考えることぐらい多分できる人たちは何もできない。あほの方がいつもうるさいってこともあるし、あと考えれば人たちが違うことにたどり着いて、違うやり方を選ぶことが多いから団結が難しいしもともとハンガリー人はそんなこと簡単にできる性質じゃないし。そして世界の反対側に住んでる俺が毎日デモ行ったりできないし。（日本の方はデモに行くべきと思ったことなかったけど、もしあったら行くよ。）
Az biztos, hogy itt “délen” a japánok nem ismerik ezt a fogalmat. Azt nem tudom, hogy Hokkaido magasságában, ahol azért már igencsak télies a tél, mi a helyzet (azt hallottam, hogy ott létezik központi fűtés). Nem tudom megérteni, hogy miért egyrétegű üveglap az ablak, hogy miért nincs telefújva azzal a szigetelőhabbal az egyébként puszta kézzel áttörhető fal, amikor azért itt is tud igen hideg lenni (nyáron meg igen meleg). Pedig mennyivel egyszerűbb (és olcsóbb) lenne, ha nem kellene folyton mennie a légkondinak, nyáron azért, mert besülnek az áramköreim, télen meg azért, hogy ne deresedjen meg szegény páfrányom.
Igazából ezt most az ihlette, hogy elmentem bevásárolni, és addig egy órára bekapcsoltam a légkondit. Még ment, amikor hazaértem, és egész kellemes volt akkor éppen a szoba klímája. Azonban most letelt az egy óra, meg azóta még egy jó húsz perc, és ugyan be van csukva minden ablak, még a(z egész vastag) függöny is be van húzva, és megy az asztal alatt a fűtőtest, hogy ne fázzon a lábam, máris kezd hideg lenni. Felmerül bennem, hogy ezt mégis hogy.

But first the backstory. A friend of mine, who helped me out greatly at the end of november when i was in the deepest pitch of financial crisis, asked me to get something for her from eBay. I have a PayPal account, and thanks to recent (and unexpected though very appreciated) donations and my translation payments, i have a non-negative balance on it, so i could help her.
The item in question was a refurbished 16GB HP Touchpad tablet on $100 sale. The sale was announced to start at 1800 central, and i was right there at the start line. And then eBay decided not to work. The “Buy now” button just wouldn’t work and the javascript console showed that it’s because the “back-end servers reached maximum capacity”. Then when i finally got past that it and tried to add the address of an american friend who was kind enough to agree to help, not even the “change” or “add adress” links would work. By the time i could get it to react at all, of course the item sold out. But after a quick exchange of mails i tried to get the 32GB version for 150 bucks, but the site again simply refused to react to the “Buy now” button. After over an hour of trying i gave up, went to the gym, and by the time i got back of course it was sold out as well. All variants.
So let me put this shortly: a leprous elk fuck you in the arse with its spiked bloody cock, dear eBay. Get your service working or fuck off.
Megint hosszú lesz a hazautam. Bár lehet nem kéne azt írnom, hogy “megint”, mert ilyen hosszú szerintem még sose volt. Eddig vagy Tokióból mentem a reptérre, ami ugye egyértelműen nem jelentős út, vagy PGV-vel (PuskaGolyóVonat). Ezúttal viszont nincs pénzem PGV-re és nem is lakok már Tokióban, ami azt jelenti, hogy az egész napos normál-vonatos utazás vár rám, amivel csupán annyi a probléma (már azon kívül, hogy vagy nyolc órát kell vonaton tölteni), hogy a mocsok nagy bőröndömmel vicces lesz átszállni hatszor-hétszer, amikor általában lépcsőzni kell satöbbi. De megoldom. Mint mindig. Legalább lesz időm út közben olvasni, csomózni, esetleg még aludni is (haha).
Bár igazán vicces akkor kezd lenni a dolog, ha belegondolok, hogy előtte szombat éjszaka fordítok, és az éjszakát ismétcsak a reptéren fogom tölteni (költségek minimalizálása és hasonlók). Aztán meg jöhet a huszonegy órás repkedés hazafelé, amiben még a szöuli szórakozás még csak-csak elmegy, de a párizsi már kevésbé lesz vicces, mivel Párizsig és Párizstól Budapestig külön jegyem van, és egyelőre nem tudom, hogy el tudom-e intézni, hogy ne kelljen Párizsban a ki-becsekkolással szenvedni (meg várni a csomagra, útlevelet ellenőrizni és hasonló finomságok). Annak is utána kell majd nézni.
Pont akkor jön a megvilágosodás, hogy hogy lehetne igazán jól és gyorsan megvalósítani a blogmotort objektumorientáltan, MVC meg minden hasonló finomságot is figyelembe véve, pont akkor, amikor már halomban állnak a fordítani valók és az ellenőrizni való fordítások, amikor jövő hétig meg kell írnom egy amúgy egész érdekes beadandót, amire attól függetlenül egy napom legalább rá fog menni, amikor egyébként is egész hónapban semmi de semmi nem akar normálisan összejönni.
Úgyhogy most fogtam egy jó kis eszpresszót, aztán ha kihűl annyira, hogy ne égesse hólyagosra a nyelvem (számoljunk vissza harminctól, igen, köszönöm), nekiugrok és ledarálom a fordításokat, elkezdek forrásokat gyűjteni a beadandóhoz, aztán ha marad bárminemű energiára kicsit is emlékeztető dolog bennem, mire ezekkel végzek, akkor nekiülök tervezni a motort. Mert azt az elmúlt n+1 alkalom nagyon jól mutatja, hogy ha nem tervezem meg előre az utolsó ellenőrző regexig, akkor valami teljesen váratlan helyen be fog bukni az egész. Bár a hónap hangulatához az is illene.

Longer version: the main character is as annoying as nothing i’ve ever seen before. He really acts like a spoiled brat, only concentrating on his own pitiful little existence, while trying to tell himself how he cares about others. Then comes a depressive fit that would fit even in Evangelion, and he feels low because he was forced to face what an utter asshole he is again. But change? Or at least try to change? Not a chance. Just keep thinking about betraying the people who saved him and whom he saved plenty of times, even after six (six!) episodes (and i’m pretty sure he will actually do it once and then surprise surprise they’ll forgive him because he has the Hand). Just keep sulking about the girl superstar who he had a crush on, but who rather favors a military genius, the leader of the group, who is as awesome and cool as can get. Just keep acting as if you were more mature than the others and look down on them, don’t even consider that maybe all those adult men and women actually know what they are doing and signed up knowing all the risks–therefore they don’t need your little high-school worries.
This show would be so much better if this shitty brat just died in episode one.
